Mount to Coast is a young brand built specifically around long-distance and ultra running. Their first shoe, the R1, went straight to a JOGLE record attempt before it ever hit shelves. Every model since has stayed close to that same brief: durable foam, a lacing system that adjusts independently at the forefoot and midfoot, and a wide toe box built for feet that swell over long miles. We're carrying all four of their current models.
On the road, not just the shelf
The one that broke the JOGLE record before it launched.
Built for road ultras and multi-day races, not daily miles. A British ultrarunner ran a single pair 854 miles across the length of the UK and broke the standing record by 40 hours. The wide toe box is there on purpose, your feet swell on runs that long, and the dual-zone lacing lets you loosen the forefoot without losing midfoot lockdown.

Not a racing shoe, a workhorse. The dual-layer midsole stacks their CircleCELL foam over a firmer rubberized EVA base, so it stays stable and controlled at max stack instead of feeling mushy. If you're logging steady daily mileage and want something that holds up over hundreds of miles, this is the one in the lineup built for exactly that.
Their bestseller, and the easiest one to recommend.
Built for the mix most of us actually run: pavement, gravel, forest road, the occasional stretch of light singletrack. The CircleCELL midsole is made using recycled organic waste and biomass as part of its feedstock, which sounds like a gimmick until you find out it also outlasts standard PEBA foam. The VersaGrip outsole has just enough lug to handle a trail without feeling clunky on the way there.
Their most technical shoe, built for long days in the mountains.
Where the H1 is built to compromise between road and trail, the T1 doesn't compromise at all. The Vibram Megagrip outsole with Litebase is genuinely some of the best traction we've felt in a trail shoe, and the LightCELL midsole keeps it light for how much protection it offers on technical, rocky terrain over long distances.
