At Runners Athletic Company, we’ve always believed that our four stores in Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, and Mt. Pleasant are more than just retail spaces. They are hubs where goals are set, friendships are forged, and the local fitness community comes to life.
Today, we are thrilled to take that community spirit to the next level. We are officially opening applications for our 2026 Community Ambassador Program!
We are looking for 12–16 dedicated individuals—3 to 4 per store location—to serve as the premier faces of Runners Athletic Company for the upcoming year. If you love our community as much as we do, this is your chance to lead the way.
More Than Just a Title: The Ambassador Identity
Being a 2026 Community Ambassador means becoming a "Trusted Advisor" for our stores and a bridge to the local trails and sidewalks. To make sure you stand out at the starting line, our ambassadors receive:
- The Exclusive Kit: You’ll receive premium, custom-designed apparel featuring specialized branding that isn't available for retail sale.
- VIP Access: Enjoy free race entries to all Dig Deep owned events and select local races throughout the year.
- Brand Partnerships: Get opportunities for exclusive footwear and apparel from some of our favorite brands.
- The Ambassador Discount: Benefit from a significant personal discount on in-store purchases at all four of our locations.
We Want Your Voice (and Your Pace)
We aren't just looking for the fastest person at the finish line. We are looking for a Diversity of Movement. Whether you are a Pace Setter who leads local clubs, a Trailblazer with a relatable fitness journey, or a Messenger who loves digital storytelling, there is a place for you.
We want runners, walkers, triathletes, and wellness enthusiasts who are passionate about making the local fitness scene feel more welcoming to newcomers.
What Does the Journey Look Like?
Our ambassadors are active leaders. Throughout 2026, you’ll represent us at a minimum of six local events, host one "Ambassador Spotlight" group run or walk per quarter, and share your journey through social media. You’ll stay connected with our team for time-sensitive updates and be the primary advocate for why shopping local matters.
